How we check course information

Where our course information comes from, how up to date it is, and what to do if something is wrong.

Sources

Course information comes from the universities' own published information: official course pages, tuition fee pages, English language requirement pages and programme or module catalogues. Where we recorded the source of a fact, the course page links to it under “About this information” and in “Useful links”.

“Last checked” dates

When a course has been checked against the university's official information, its page shows the date of that check. Pages without a date say that the details have not yet been checked against the official course page by our team.

Nothing is guessed

Course pages only show information we have recorded. When something is missing — for example the duration, the modules or the English test requirements — the page says it is not recorded yet and points to the official course page, instead of estimating it. The intake, fee and level summaries on university pages and on our intake and study-level pages are counted directly from the course information.

FlashCourseFinder's own information

A few details are set by FlashCourseFinder rather than by the university — for example our own pre-CAS interview and initial deposit arrangements on some courses. These are labelled as FlashCourseFinder information on the course page and are never presented as a university requirement.

Information changes

Universities update fees, intakes, entry requirements and deadlines, sometimes at short notice. Always confirm the details on the official course page before you apply or pay anything.

Corrections

If you find something that is wrong or out of date, email applications@flashcoursefinder.com with the link to the course page and what should change (a link to the university's page that shows the correct information helps). We check it against the official source and update the course.
