Privacy & cookies

What information FlashCourseFinder collects, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

Who we are

FlashCourseFinder runs the website flashcoursefinder.com. For any privacy question or request, email applications@flashcoursefinder.com.

Browsing the site

You can search and read course, university and article pages without an account and without giving us any personal information. To protect the site from abuse, our servers use your IP address to limit very high numbers of requests. When a connection is temporarily blocked, our logs record a scrambled tag instead of the IP address. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs.

Application inquiries

When you send an application inquiry, we collect:

  • your full name, email address, WhatsApp number and country;
  • if you give them, your academic qualification, your English test and your message;
  • the courses you chose, and your consent;
  • if you were signed in, a link to your account.

We use this information to:

  • handle your inquiry and contact you about it by email or WhatsApp;
  • send you a confirmation email;
  • share your details with the universities you applied to, as you agree when you send the form.

Accounts

If you create an account, we keep your email address and the courses and articles you save. Sign-in, including your password and email sign-in links, is handled by our authentication provider; we never see or store your password in readable form.

Who we share information with

  • The universities you apply to, with your consent.
  • Service providers that run the site for us: our database and sign-in provider (Supabase), our email provider (for confirmation and notification emails) and our hosting provider.

We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed to sign you in and keep you signed in to your account; they are set when you sign in or request a sign-in link. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from our own site.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your personal information, or to delete your account, by emailing applications@flashcoursefinder.com. You can also ask us to stop contacting you about an application inquiry.

Changes

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date below. See also our terms of use.
