The BSc (Hons) Adult Nursing combines academic study with extensive clinical practice. Approximately half of the programme is University-based learning and half is clinical practice. Students develop skills in person-centred care, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, assessment and care planning, evidence-based practice, complex adult care, leadership and professional nursing practice. Students also undertake clinical placements with NHS and healthcare partners across Buckinghamshire and London, alongside simulation-based learning in realistic clinical environments. On successful completion, students are eligible to apply for NMC registration as an adult nurse.
