For applicants from Pakistan

For a postgraduate research degree, York normally requires a Bachelor's degree plus either a relevant Master's degree or research experience. Pakistan equivalency and course-specific requirements apply. Research proposal and supervisor/research area fit apply.

General entry requirements

Normally at least a UK 2:2/equivalent in a relevant subject, subject to research area requirements.

Scholarships & discounts

Snowdon Masters Scholarship: up to £30,000, but typical Pakistan-based applicants without a UK undergraduate degree are not eligible under the published condition. Joan Samuels Scholarship: £1,000.
