Entry requirements
For applicants from Pakistan
For a postgraduate research degree, York normally requires a Bachelor's degree plus either a relevant Master's degree or research experience. Pakistan equivalency and course-specific requirements apply. Research proposal and supervisor fit; interview usually via Zoom.
General entry requirements
Normally at least a UK 2:2/equivalent; applicants should normally have a prior qualification in philosophy (normally a BA).
Scholarships & discounts
Snowdon Masters Scholarship: up to £30,000, but typical Pakistan-based applicants without a UK undergraduate degree are not eligible under the published condition. Joan Samuels Scholarship: £1,000.
