General entry requirements

For the one-year MSc: General international requirement You need: A degree equivalent to a UK undergraduate honours degree at 2:2 or above. For the two-year route, NTU specifies a UK-equivalent 2:1 or above, but the two-year placement route is for September starters. If you're applying from Pakistan NTU's current Pakistan-specific guidance says a four-year Bachelor's degree is normally considered for postgraduate entry as follows: • CGPA 2.5 for courses requiring a 2:2 • CGPA 2.9 for courses requiring a 2:1 For graduates of NUST, Quaid-i-Azam University and LUMS, NTU states lower thresholds: • CGPA 2.3 for a 2:2 requirement • CGPA 2.7 for a 2:1 requirement NTU also says that a combination of Bachelor's and Master's study totalling four years may be considered. For this MSc, because the standard one-year entry requirement is 2:2, the relevant general Pakistani threshold is therefore 4-year Bachelor's + CGPA 2.5, subject to NTU's assessment of your qualification.
